Cantina Raustella

A story that began more than 300 years ago when, in the town of Serrara Fontana, located in the highest part of the island of Ischia, on land still untouched, the Raustella Winery was founded.

The architectural elements are distinguished by the presence of ogive vault arches spaced out by vents; there are numerous wine barrels, wine presses, oil presses, vinegar jars, stone hearths, fruits and products of the land that can be consumed over time, such as the wreaths of tomatoes, garlics, onions, peppers, or the famous chestnuts of Epomeo, paintings, vases and jugs. These are just some of the unique sights and delicacies that can be found and enjoyed at Raustella's.

You can taste all the typical specialities from the local territory: starters (platter of cold meats, pickeled vegetables, toasted bread prepared in the traditional manner of Ischia with Piennolo tomatoes, origano from the Epomeo mountain, garlic and basil) rabbit prepared following the traditional recipe of Ischia and pasta with rabbit sauce.

We are fortunate to have inherited and maintained our traditional farming values. We cultivate a large plot of land, thanks to which we obtain organic, farm to table, high-quality products that you will be able to fully experience in our wine cellar.
